Stuart Palmer
From the age of 16 Stuart was trained as a traditional agricultural engineer, where he honed his craft in welding, forge-work and steel fabrication. There, Stuart's passion for metal creations was forged. He now takes great pride in realising his customer’s dreams working in collaboration with you to evolve your ideas to the finished item.

Stuart has designed and made many smaller pieces for interior decoration, as well as unique, functional ironwork for the home. He's always happy to hear from you, however small the piece you have in mind.

Most of Stuart’s work is based on his own original designs. But he's also skilled in collaborating with artists, craftspeople, tradesmen and customers like you, applying his fabrication expertise to realise the designs of others, on time and on budget.
Our bespoke metal gifts and accessories range is made from horseshoes and recycled metals, these beautifully finished items are made using our new or used horseshoes and for an extra personalised gift some items can be made from a customer's own shoes. Check out our products which are all designed to bring a sense of the countryside into your home, making ideal gifts for horse lovers and those who would enjoy the rural life.

Within the forge of Anvil Cottage Crafts, every piece Stuart produces is almost completely by hand, using the traditional forging tools of fire and vision, with the hammer and anvil taking centre stage. Get in touch for a quote or see our product pages.
